About Eat Local Week

Starts October 1, 2011!

Eat Local Week is Burlington's celebration of the local food and drink we enjoy year-round here in Vermont.

Organized by City Market and the Burlington Free Press, the Week grew out of the Localvore Challenges of years past – it’s just so easy to eat local these days!

We’ve got dozens of events, tastings, workshops, localvore menus, and tours throughout the week featuring local farms, restaurants, and businesses.

At each event, enter to win our Eat Local Week drawing:

Grand Prize: $300 gift card to City Market
Second Prize $200 to the Burlington Farmers’ Market
